My girlfriend, Jemele Hill, put me on to Stefano's Italian Grille in Windermere. It's locally-owned and if you blink--you will miss it! It's tucked away in a shopping center on Summerport Village Parkway.

On most days you will find the owner, Stefano Tedsechi, on site.  And it's not uncommon to find him walking around, talking to guests. That to me says, he cares a LOT about the service being provided to his customers AND the quality of the product he's serving.  If you're lucky...you'll run into several local celebrities.  It's  a "hot spot" for celebrities who have homes in nearby-- up-scale Windermere neighborhoods, including many sports stars.

What I like most about Stefano's is the authenticity of the food. It's real Italian food! And you can taste the authenticity from the dough in the noodles used to make the pasta to the desserts and wines. It's all divine. There are a lot of options, but in this case, I think its good because they are Italian, and know how to make REAL ITALIAN FOOD! If you close your eyes, you might think you are in Italy. And get this, it's NOT overpriced, at all, so it's the perfect place to take the whole family. It an get busy, so I do suggest a reservation.
