Greens and Grille

Greens and Grille is like fast food, but MUCH better AND HEALTHIER! When you walk in, you'll find the menu on the wall. You can pick from one of the ready-made sandwich choices, or you can build-your-own. Did I mention it's all fresh...AND HEALTHY! It's one of those restaurants I've passed a million and one times, but never bothered to stop. And if you've ever visited Millenia Mall, you've seen it, too. I suggest you stop by next time :)

My hair stylist first introduced me to Greens and Grille. One day I was in the salon, food-deprived, and she offered to order and pick-up food from Greens and Grille.  I had the "Cow" with turkey. It comes with flank steak, normally. The food was so good, I just had to go back for myself to see what else it had to offer! This week, I went back and experienced the atmosphere for myself. The hostess was friendly and patient. I had a hard time deciding what I might want, but she waited, never got frustrated or annoyed, which is something I experience recently while visiting the deli at my neighborhood Publix. But that's a different story..for a different blog :)

Everything at Greens and Grille is FRESH. There are ingredients galore to choose from to make your own salad! I mean the freshly cut eggs, peppers, onions, baby tomatoes, speciality dressings. I wanted to take it all home with me and store it in my fridge for safe keeping! I had a freshly made salad with eggs, tomatoes, spinach, feta cheese and a citrus balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I could've eaten it alone. The generous portion was more than enough for lunch. The best part is you can watch as they make your salad and sandwiches!

What's funny! I actually got my order to-go. Just as I arrived at my destination, one of my twitter followers suggested I go BACK just for the COOKIE! I noticed the cookies at the check-out counter, but thought better than to add sugar to such a healthy lunch! Unfortunately, I grew up on chocolate chip cookies and have a great weakness for them. My mom taught me how to bake the Pillsbury pre-cut cookies, and I used to bake them before school, wrap them in aluminum foil, hide them in my desk in class and snack on them ALL DAY LONG! Nope, never got caught :)
So...I just HAD TO drive back for the cookie AND it was DELICIOUS! If you've ever flown with Delta Airlines and had the Biscoff cookies..the flavor of the Greens and Grille chocolate chip cookies put you in the mind of those Biscoff cookies...my mouth is already watering ....

Cost for two: $20-$25
Parking: There is limited parking because its in a shopping center with the International Diamond Center, a spa, Planet Smoothie..you get the idea.

  5. Oh no! Jaclyn P--so sorry to hear that! Another reason restaurants have to make sure they provide top notch service and food everyday. One bad experience can cost you a customer. Thanks SOOO much for reading. I really appreciate all the support from everyone!
