Lobster Bisque Soup

Ever had a Honeydew Mimosa? Probably not unless you've  been to OLV Cafe, in the growing SODO (south downtown) District of Orlando. The BEST thing about OLV Cafe is the STUFFED french toast and smoked salmon with capers, red onions and cream cheese! And the flatbreads are much better than Urban Flats! They're $5 on Mondays after 4:00. Plus..it's not a CHAIN! Just make sure they have food in stock when you go...

K Restaurant

I woke up SICK the day after I had dinner at K Restaurant in College Park, a cute neighborhood, not far from Downtown Orlando. I was so disappointed because a few of my Twitter followers had nothing but great things to say about this restaurant on Edgewater. And even one of my friends who lives nearby was in SHOCK! Lesson learned: Some restaurants can't handle holiday crowds, at all!

Rocks Lounge

I have always said someone needs to have the courage to open a CLASSY lounge in Orlando that offers great food, live music, comfortable, casual seating for me and my GIRLFRIENDS. The Peabody did just that with ROCKS! I love this place and you will, too!

Greens and Grille

Greens and Grille is like fast food, but MUCH better AND HEALTHIER! When you walk in, you'll find the menu on the wall. You can pick from one of the ready-made sandwich choices, or you can build-your-own. Did I mention it's all fresh...AND HEALTHY! It's one of those restaurants I've passed a million and one times, but never bothered to stop. And if you've ever visited Millenia Mall, you've seen it, too. I suggest you stop by next time :)

4 Rivers Smokehouse

Where do I begin...from wrong orders to the WAIT that makes you feel like you're in a line for public assistance or unemployment benefits...this place has become a real disappointment!

My girlfriend, Jemele Hill, put me on to Stefano's Italian Grille in Windermere. It's locally-owned and if you blink--you will miss it! It's tucked away in a shopping center on Summerport Village Parkway.

On most days you will find the owner, Stefano Tedsechi, on site.  And it's not uncommon to find him walking around, talking to guests. That to me says, he cares a LOT about the service being provided to his customers AND the quality of the product he's serving.  If you're lucky...you'll run into several local celebrities.  It's  a "hot spot" for celebrities who have homes in nearby-- up-scale Windermere neighborhoods, including many sports stars.

Ocean Prime

Ocean Prime is MY FAVORITE restaurant above all others! My boyfriend and I fell in love with this place two years ago. It has EVERYTHING you're looking for. Great appetizers, food, dessert, ambiance and SERVICE!

Shari Sushi

Shari Sushi Lounge is  definitely lacking in the area of customer service, which surprises me for a place that REQUIRES a reservation because it's always so busy. So you ask, why then, is it on the list of MY FAVORITES?

One of my co-workers hipped me to the Hawaiian-themed Steakhouse, with an ambiance and staff that make you feel like you really are on the Island of Waikiki!
